Massages by Isabelle
Dear Tidewater Vacations,
We spent a week at “Saint Bart” with children and their families – 9 of us in all. Each of us had a massage (one of us had two) and we all agree that it was the very best massage any of us has ever had. Isabelle is delightful and completely professional, using multiple techniques that she has learned in her travels and extensive training around the world. We strongly recommend that all of your guests treat themselves to a massage by Isabelle. They will be very happy that they did.
Swedish massage
Using long flowing rhythmical strokes that work the major muscle groups as well as the superficial layers of connective tissue to help relieve the muscles from tension whilst inducing relaxation.
Deep tissue massage
Used to release chronic muscle tension, through slower strokes, more direct deep pressure applied across the grain of the muscles and at the origin and insertion to release tight muscles. Especially good to help relieve acute or chronic pain and increase range of motion.
Aromatherapy massage
Using a blend of essential oils chosen by the client in response to their need, the massage flows gently, rhymically, and energetically, releasing blocked areas and allowing the essential oils to penetrate the skin whilst the aroma stimulates the Limbic System.
Lomi-Lomi (Hawaiian massage)
This massge is given in fluid, rhythmic motion using the forearms as well as the hands. Some people have described this as feeling like gentle waves moving over the body for a total relaxation of the mind and body.
