The pool is down at the water's edge - float around and watch the osprey diving for their prey and blue heron picking and feeding in the shallows of the creek. Directly across the creek is the 900-acre Jean DuPont Audubon sanctuary where numerous songbirds, waterfowl and wildlife make their homes. A large deck off the house overlooking the water is the ideal place to entertain in the evenings while watching the sunset. Grill that rockfish on the BBQ or enjoy a steamed Maryland crab feast (all caught from your dock).

And yet 7 minutes down the road, one can enjoy fine dining in the historic village of St Michaels, interesting eclectic shops, sailboat cruises, or spend some time at the famous Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum.
